NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING Raleigh County Commission on Aging will hold a public meeting for comment on closure of its Pettus satellite nutrition site on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., at the Raleigh – Boone Technical Center in Pettus, West Virginia. The Raleigh County Board of Education will be closing the Raleigh – Boone Technical Center in Pettus, West Virginia on December 31, 2015. Raleigh County Commission on Aging has maintained a satellite nutrition site in that building for several years. Due to the rural nature of the area, and financial constraints, Raleigh County Commission on Aging has not been able to find a feasible alternative site in the area.
