On September 11, 2025, SOTE Transportation, LLC filed an Application for a certificate of convenience and necessity to operate as a common carrier by motor vehicle in the transportation of passengers in Raleigh, Fayette, Kanawha, Mercer and McDowell Counties. The certificate would read as follows:
To operate as a common carrier by motor vehicle in the transportation of passengers by means of specialized multi-passenger van service between points and places in Raleigh, Fayette, Kanawha, Mercer and McDowell Counties, on the one hand, and points and places in West Virginia on the other hand.
Rates:
Base Fare:$1.00, plus
$0.50 per mile, and
$0.50 per minute
Minimum Fare:$6.00
Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest or notice of intervention within ten (10) days following the date of this publication unless otherwise modified by Commission order. Requests to intervene must comply with the Commission's rules on intervention set forth in the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure.
