Flood Mitigation Meeting
All citizens who live in Wyoming County that reside outside of the Municipal Corporate Limits of Mullens, Oceana, and Pineville, and have received substantial damage in the past due to flooding, are encouraged to attend a scheduled meeting at one of the following locations: Westside High School, 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24th, 2026 and Wyoming East High School 5:00 p.m. March 26th, 2026. State Representatives of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMPG) will be in attendance to explain the program and eligibility for inclusion within the areas outside of the Municipal Corporate Limits of Mullens, Oceana, and Pineville areas for the Wyoming County (HMPG) application. If you are interested in participating in a state/FEMA "buyout" program, it is important for you to attend.
