PUBLIC NOTICE
COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY (CEDS)
The Region VII Planning and Development Council and its Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee completed a draft of the 2025-2030 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the Council. The purpose of the CEDS is to identify regional economic development strategies and develop an economic development action plan for Barbour, Braxton, Gilmer, Lewis,
Randolph, Tucker and Upshur Counties.
The draft of the CEDS is currently available for review at the Region VII Planning and Development Council offices located at 21 E. Main Street, Suite 102, Buckhannon, WV from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. An electronic copy of the CEDS is also available on our website at
www.regionvii.com/
plans-strategies.
Comments on the CEDS will be accepted until April 10, 2026, at 4:00 pm. Comments may be submitted in writing or by email to:
