Advertisement for Bids West Virginia University at Parkersburg is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to complete the Jackson County Center Roof Replacement project. The project includes removal of the existing roof down to the deck and replacement of the roof with a new roof system that includes .060 EPDM over 1/2″ protection board over tapered roof insulation over (2) layers of thick base roof insulation. Roof includes the main roof, roof over elevator shaft, and roof over the stair tower. The shingled roof will remain. A Prebid meeting will be held on April 6, 2026, at 11:00 am at WVU Parkersburg Jackson County Center located at 107 Academy Drive, Ripley, WV 25271. Bids will be due at 1:00 pm on April 15, 2026, at the WVU-P Purchasing Department at 300 Campus Drive, Parkersburg, WV 26104 Attention: Jeannine Hetrick Ratliffe, CPO. A public bid opening will take place in the Business Office Conference Room directly after bids are due. The Project does not require Davis Bacon Wage Requirements.
