NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
THE MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARKERSBURG WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON FRIDAY, MAY 15TH, 2026, AT 12:30 P.M. IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE PARKERSBURG MUNICIPAL BUILDING, ONE GOVERNMENT SQUARE, PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA. AT THAT TIME AND PLACE ANY INTERESTED PARKERSBURG RESIDENT OR PROPERTY OWNER IS INVITED TO COMMENT ON AND AID THE MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION IN CONSIDERING THE FOLLOWING:

a. Petition for thoroughfare abandonment of an approximately 430-foot-long 50-foot-wide portion of 7th Street adjacent to City of Parkersburg Tax Map: 90 Parcel: 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27A, 28, and 34.

b. Petition to rezone City of Parkersburg Tax Map: 114 Parcel: C5, C6, and C7 from an R-3 Residential District to a B-2 General Business District.
