NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS LEGAL COUNSEL The Huntington WV Housing Authority is soliciting Statements of Qualifications based on technical expertise, experience, and past record of performance from attorneys of law to provide legal services for the operations and management of approximately 2,200 units of low-rent housing. Requirements include, but are not limited to: attending local board meetings; advising on the preparation of agency documents, papers, contracts and other legal drafting; reviewing the legality of contracts; giving notice to and consulting with insurance carriers regarding agency interests; reviewing all financing litigated matters. Proposals should also address the following requirements: certified statement that the attorney or legal firm is not debarred, by any local, state or federal agency; capability to provide professional services in a timely manner; fee required; evidence that the attorney or legal firm is registered in the State of West Virginia, and is an equal opportunity employer.
