Attention: The Fairmont-Morgantown Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting list will be opening effective May 18th 2026 at 8:00 AM. Potential applicants may apply by mail or in person at one of our offices located at 103 12th Street Fairmont WV 26554 and 431 Spruce Street Second Floor Morgantown WV 26505. Drop boxes are located at both office locations for after-hours submission. Applications may also be submitted by fax to 304-366-0469. Applications are available at our office locations. Applicants already on Project Based and Public Housing waiting lists must apply separately for the Section 8 Waiting List. Applying for the Section 8 Waiting List will not affect ranking on other waiting lists. Please call 304-363-0860 with any questions.
