The object of this action is to quiet title to Plaintiffs’
interest in the oil and gas rights beneath the subject real
property and to obtain a judgment against Antero
Resources Corporation for the amounts owed to
Plaintiffs for the oil and gas that has been produced
from the subject real property, which is described as
follows:
Situate, lying and being in the County of Tyler,
District of Meade, and State of West Virginia,
and bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a white oak on ridge corner to Pyle; thence S. 12 W 58-2/5 P. to a C.O.; thence S. 3 1/2 E. 19 P. to m stone hickory called for; thence S. 12 1/2 E. 25 4/5 P. to a stone; thence N. 78 E. 110 3/5 P. to a stone; thence S. 22 P. to a rock oak on bank; thence S. 89 E. 51 P. to a stone in Wilsons line; thence N. 18 W. 22 P. to a stone thence N. 12 1/2 E. 27 14/25 P. to a stone hickory called for; thence N. N. 24-1/4 E. 62-2/5 P. to a stone; thence S. 72 W. 56 14/25 P. to a white oak stump; thence N. 18 W. 64 1/4 P. to a stone; thence S. 41-3/4 P to a white oak by County road; thence N. 88 3/10 W. 99 1/2 P. to a stone at barn; thence S. 31 W. 8 P. to the place of beginning.
Containing 104 1/4 acres, be the same more or less. Being a part the following surface Tracts: Tax Map 10, Parcels 28, 34, 35, part of parcel 21, and Map 12, part of Parcel 10,

TO DEFENDANTS, Helen Daff and John George, Jr.:
It appearing by Affidavit filed in this action that
Plaintiffs, Judy Mellor, Steven Tice, and David Lieving,
have used due diligence to ascertain the residence or
whereabouts of the said Defendants, without effect, it is
hereby ORDERED that Defendants, Helen Daff and
John George, Jr., serve upon Daniel P. Corcoran,
Plaintiff’s Attorney, whose address is 424 Second
Street, Marietta, Ohio 45750, an Answer, including any
related counterclaim or defense you may have to the
Complaint filed in this action on or before June 26th
2026. If you fail to do so, a judgment by default for the
relief demanded in the Complaint will be rendered
against you, at any time thereafter.
A copy of the Complaint can be obtained from the
undersigned Clerk at the office this 8th day of May by
the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Tyler County, West
Virginia on this 8th day of May, 2026.
