A Public Hearing for the Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in Council Chambers, Weirton City Building, 4:30PM. The purpose of this meeting is to review the following applications:
a) Bernard Aria is requesting a variance to install a detached garage in the front yard of his residence at 4341 Harmon Creek Road (Tax Map W8P Parcel 15). Article 12.05 (B) of the UDO allows garages to be placed in the side yard if aligned with, or behind the front line, of the primary structure. A garage placed within the front yard will require a variance.
Applicants must appear in person; all interested parties may appear in person or be represented by an agent, attorney, or submit comments in writing giving reasons for either granting or denying this petition.
