TAYLOR COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT REQUEST FOR BIDS GLADE RUN WATER MAIN EXTENSION Sealed bids will be received by The Taylor County Public Service District at its office at 245 City Park Lane, Grafton, West Virginia 26354 until July 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time when said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the construction of the following project: Glade Run Water Main Extension. This project includes the installation of approximately 12,300 linear feet of 4-, 3-, and 2-inch water main including 11,360 linear feet of 4-, 3-, and 2-inch PVC water main installed by open trench methods and 940 linear feet of 4- and 3-inch HDPE water main installed by horizontal directional drilling, 4 gate valves, 14 customer service connections, a tie-in by dry tap to the Taylor County Public Service District water distribution system, and other appurtenances necessary herein and shown on the Construction Drawings. The above stated deposit is required before the documents can be made available. Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Engineer’s Office. Bids are to be sealed and addressed to the Taylor County Public Service District, 245 City Park Lane, Grafton, West Virginia 26354 and noted on the envelope as a Bid for the Glade Run Water Main Extension All Bids must include a Bid Bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful Bidder will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Taylor County Public Service District reserves the right: to accept or reject any and all bids; to defer, delay or postpone the date for receiving and opening proposals; to negotiate with the lowest responsible Bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Project; and to waive any informality in a Bid or reject such an informal bid if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the project.
