Notice is hereby given that they City of Parkersburg, in accordance with Article 1705.08 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Parkersburg, West Virginia, claims a lien to secure the payment of the sum of Eleven thousand seven hundred four dollars and 96/100 ($11,704.96), plus interest from date of lien, upon your interest in and to the herein described real property lying, situate and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:

All that certain lot, tract, or parcel of real estate lying, being and situate in the district of Parkersburg, county of Wood and state of West Virginia, more particularly bounded and described as follows:

Located on the east side of Lynn Street in Neals Pardon Cook Addition to the city of Parkersburg, bounded by line commencing on the east side of Lynn Street at a point one hundred and fifty (150) feet north of Teft Street (now East Twelfth Street): thence at right angles to Lynn Street eastwardly one hundred and and twenty-five (125) feet to an alley; thence with said alley northwardly fifty (50) feet to point on the dame; thence westwardly and at right angles to Lynn Street one hundred and twenty-five (125) feet to Lynn Street; thence with the east line of Lynn Street southwardly fifty (50) feet to the place of beginning.

Such claim is made on the basis that the City of Parkersburg has caused to be demolished certain building(s) formerly located upon the above described real property.

The nature of the work performed upon the aforesaid buildings and upon the above described real property, pursuant to the contract for demolition awarded to Jimmie Harper Construction, under lawful bidding procedures, was the demolition by the aforesaid contractor on or around the 14th day of April, 2026. Said lien interest from date of lien, as shown more fully in the invoice submitted by said contractor which is attached hereto as City Exhibit1, and in the statement of the various costs necessary and incidental, for such demolition which is attached hereto as City Exhibit 2, which may both be viewed by contacting the City of parkersburg.
