REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS E-Rate Category 2 Components – Internal Connections The Mercer County Board of Education, Princeton, WV invites proposals to provide E-Rate Category 2 Components – Internal Connections for Mercer County Schools. Interested vendors may attend school site tours starting at 9:00 a.m. on March 8, 2016 at Princeton Middle School, 300 North Johnston Street, Princeton, WV 24740. The tour will continue to all school locations referenced in the proposal so that interested vendors may obtain a clear understanding of the components and scope of the work required at the locations. No other site tours will be conducted. Proposals must comply with the Universal School and Library Program of the Universal Service Fund, or E-Rate requirements. The successful bidder and all subcontractors must have a valid West Virginia Contractor’s License and will be required to pay the West Virginia Department of Labor prevailing wage rates as established for Mercer County, pursuant to West Virginia Code 21-5A-1 et seq. The successful Bidder must also comply with all rules and regulations of the West Virginia Workers’ Compensation Fund. Final contract payment will not be made to the vendor until all certifications of compliance with West Virginia Code c5A-3-10a, c11-10-11(d) and c21-A-2-6c (a) for payment of applicable state and county taxes has been obtained. The scope of work, submission requirements and the basis for the award is contained in the request for proposal. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for at least ninety days. No responses will be accepted after the posted closing time. Other requirements are detailed in the RFP. Proposals will be publicly opened on March 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the main conference room, Mercer County Board of Education, 1403 Honaker Avenue, Princeton, WV 24740.
