NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT BLUESTONE LAKE WATER CONTROL MANUAL INITIAL DEVIATION BLUESTONE DAM, SUMMERS COUNTY WEST VIRGINIA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District, by this Notice of Availability (NOA), advises the public that the Draft Environmental Assessment (DEA) for the Bluestone Lake Water Control Manual Initial Deviation is complete and available for public review. Bluestone Dam is located on the New River in Summers County, West Virginia. A Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) is anticipated for the proposed action. A Draft FONSI is included with the DEA for public review. In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and 40 CFR 1501.4, the DEA and draft FONSI must be available to the public in the affected area for thirty (30) days for review and comment. Final determination regarding the need for additional NEPA documentation will be made after the public review period, which begins on or about March 4, 2016.
