NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

RALEIGH COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING This is notice that on the 16th day of June, 2016 in the Raleigh County Commission Courtroom at 116 1/2 North Heber Street, Beckley, West Virginia, at 4:00 p.m., the Planning and Zoning Commission of Raleigh County, West Virginia, will hold a public hearing upon the application of Raleigh County Solid Waste Authority for the purpose of establishing an Industrial Landfill, Recycling Center and Converting Methane Gas to Electricity. The proposed zoning will be (I1) Industrial, restricted to the proposed use(s) only. The property is located contiguous to the present Landfill and Recycling Center off Fernandez Drive, Beckley, WV. The proposed properties for zoning are as follows: Town District, Tax Map 11, Parcels 18 and 19; Tax Map 12, Parcels 4.1, 4.2 and 7; Tax Map 600-5, Parcels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (41), 8, 9, 10, 10.1, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 25.1, Raleigh County, West Virginia. Any person wishing to be heard concerning this matter should be present at the time and place indicated above. Written comments concerning this matter received by June 15, 2016 will be considered.
