NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS To maintain necessary clearances for safe and reliable electric service, Appalachian Power plans to manage vegetation along a portion of its 12 and 34.5 kilovolt distribution/transmission system in Raleigh County, West Virginia. On or about June 1, 2016, contract crews will begin selectively applying herbicides to brush along our rights of way. Rights of way in the area involved in the program are: Packs Branch – Lively in the Toney Fork, Paint Creek areas Cherry Creek – Flat Top in the Shady Spring, Ghent, Odd, Ellison Ridge, Flat Top areas North Beckley – Maxwell Hill, North Kanawha, and Pikeview circuits in the Beckley, Dry Hill, Sweeneysburg areas Representatives will attempt to personally contact resident property owners at least seven business days prior to working on their property.
