Schools Buses for Bid:

 

The Wirt County Board of Education will be accepting sealed bids for two different school buses.  One bus is a 2004 International IC 77 Passenger School Bus, 31,000 GVW, 143,243 miles, 6847 hours, DT 466E, and 245 HP.  The bus has an Allison Automatic Transmission, in-frame overhaul at 124,813 miles by Matheny Motors, body is starting to have rust problems at the floor cross members.  The bus was utilized the school system till the end of the 2017/2018 Schoolyear.

The second bus up for bid is a 1996 International/Blue Bird 59 Passenger Bus with the seats removed, 25,500 GVW, 145,053 miles, 444 E, and 210 HP.  The bus has a six plus one manual transmission.  It was used to haul band equipment until the end of the 2017/2018 Schoolyear.   It was replaced in the fleet by a newer bus.  The buses must be sold as is.  A sealed bid must be mailed to Wirt County Board of Education, PO Box 189, or hand-delivered to: Wirt County Board of Education, 389 Mulberry Street, Elizabeth, WV 26143 by Friday, August 23, 2018.  Bids must be labeled âWCBOE Bus Bidã.   The Wirt County Board of Education reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids. Automobiles for Bid:

 

The Wirt County Board of Education will be accepting sealed bids for two different Ford Taurus Automobiles, both of these Ford Taurus Automobiles have 3.0 V6 Engines and Automatic Transmissions.  One Ford Taurus is a 2005 Model with 198,123 miles, and the second one is a 2004 Model with mileage unknown due to non-operational odometer.  The car bodies are in good condition, and must be sold as is.  A sealed bid must be mailed to Wirt County Board of Education, PO Box 189, Elizabeth, WV 26143, or hand-delivered to: Wirt County Board of Education, 389 Mulberry Street, Elizabeth, WV 26143 by Friday, August 23, 2018.  Bids must be labeled âWCBOE Ford Taurus Bidã.   The Wirt County Board of Education reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.
