Invitation to Bid
The RITCHIE COUNTY HISTORIC LANDMARKS COMMISSION, A CERTIFIED LOCAL GOVERNMENT, is requesting a bid for masonry restoration for the historic BANK OF CAIRO building located at 320 MAIN STREET, CAIRO, WV, 26337.
The project includes cleaning and repointing of existing masonry of roof parapet wall.
The project completion date is no later than May 30, 2019 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) cost, (2) experience with similar historic preservation projects, and (3) proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
The bid package is available by calling (304) 643-2738. The property will be open for a mandatorypre-bid walk-through on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2nd, 2018, AT 2:00 P.M.
