to File Application
The Town of Meadow Bridge will file an application with the USDA Rural Development for financial assistance for a water system improvements and extension project. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the proposed water project. The project consists of upgrades to the undersized portion of the existing water distribution system, installation of isolation valves, installation of emergency interconnection with Danese PSD and extension of water service to 145 new customers. The project includes approximately 4.2 miles of 2-inch to 8-inch distribution line replacement, 5.8 miles of new 2-inch to 8-inch distribution line, one (1) – 100,000 gallon water storage tank, one (1) 6-inch master meter, and one (1) 20 gpm booster pump station, 145 residential water meters, 49 fire hydrants, 5 flushing hydrants, 64 gate valves and other appurtenances.
This notice is to inform the public of a public meeting to be held on January 7, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Meadow Bridge Town Hall. The purpose of the meting is provide an opportunity to become acquainted with the proposed project and to comment on economic and environmental impacts, service area, or alternatives to the project.
