The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Board of Governors, on behalf of The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) invites Contractors to submit Firm Fixed Price (FFP) sealed Bids to provide all work, as required in accordance with the WVSOM Contracts Department Request For Bid (RFB) and the ZMM Inc. Project Manual #18102 and Drawings (Architect’s Bid Documents) for RFB Number WVSOM-19-B-009. This Project shall include but shall not be limited to all labor, material equipment supplies, shipping and handling, and transportation (Project Work) required to complete the following WVSOM Project.

REQUESTING WVSOM (RFB)
All bids shall be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the WVSOM Request for Bid (RFB) as issued and provided to the Bidder by the WVSOM Contracts and Purchasing Department (Contracts Department). ALL BIDDERS MUST REQUEST THE WVSOM RFB/FORM OF BID FROM THE WVSOM CONTRACTS DEPARTMENT, AS FOLLOWS:

Upon receipt of a written request for the WVSOM RFB, the WVSOM Contracts Department will add the Requestor’s firm to the official WVSOM James R. Stookey Library Stair Addition Project Bidders list and the Requestor shall accordingly receive copies of the RFB and all RFB written Addenda.

BIDDING DOCUMENTS CAN BE OBTAINED BY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING METHODS:
Prime Contract Bidders only may contact ZMM, Inc. Architects and Engineers at (304)342-0519 and request information to access the firm’s online F.T.P. site for the Stair Addition to the James R. Stookey Library project. Once access is gained, Contractors and download Bidding Documents in the form of PDF files at no charge. Requests for access to documents must be made by telephone, and those requests received through mail, email, fax transmission or other online communications will not receive a response.
Hard copies may be obtained from Charleston Blueprint (304-343-1063) by General Contractors, Subcontractors, material suppliers and dealers by paying the actual cost of printing, binding and mailing however such cost is not refundable.

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING:
It is MANDATORY that all Bidders (Prime Contractors) attend the WVSOM Pre-Bid Meeting for this Project. All Bidders MUST attend the pre-bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions and other relevant information. A bid and/or bids received from a Bidder who did not attend the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting shall not be considered for award.
