Project: Solicitation of Bids for
Campground Upgrade
The Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority is seeking bids from qualified contractors to upgrade the water and power in the campground and add six premium sites at Lake Stephens, located at 1400 Lake Stephens Road, Surveyor, WV. The campground currently has hook up 100 sites (30AMP and 50AMP).
All Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the Raleigh County Commission Building, 116 1/2 North Heber Street, Beckley WV, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday April 8, 2019. Project Specifications will be distributed and discussed at this time. Questions may be directed to Molly Williams, Executive Director Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority at (304) 254-8371.
Sealed Bids for this project will be received by the Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Board until 10:00 a.m. on Monday April 15, 2019. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud Tuesday April 16, 2019. Submit bids to the Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority, Attention Molly Williams, 116 1/2 North Heber Street, Beckley, WV 25801. Please mark each envelope “Campground Upgrade”.
Bidders are required to be bonded, hold a valid West Virginia Contractors License, and provide proof of Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation coverage. The Raleigh County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any /or all proposals and waive informality in the process.
