General Investigation into Adopting and Implementing Rules Governing Pole Attachments and Assumption of Commission Jurisdiction Over Pole Attachments
NOTICE AND INVITATION
FOR COMMENT
On June 4th, 2019, the Public Service Commission of West Virginia (Commission) opened a general investigation for consideration of comments and recommendations about the adoption and implementation of the Pole Attachment Act, 47 U.S.C. 224, and attendant FCC regulations, 47 C.F.R. 1.1401-1.1425. and the Federal Communication Commission formal complaint procedures regarding pole attachments as required by West Virginia Code 31G-4-4. The Commission also established a period for interested parties to submit written comments and recommendations. Interested parties should submit written comments to the Executive Secretary of the Commission, at PO Box 812, Charleston, WV 25323. Initial comments are due by July 5, 2019, and reply comments are due by July 15, 2019. Interested parties may review the order instituting the rulemaking online at http://www.psc.state.wv.us.
