The City of Williamstown Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 7:30PM. The following items will be discussed:

1. Request by Bret Richards to take 5 feet from lot #6, 123 W. 8th Street, and add it to lot #7, 121 W. 8th Street.

The meeting will be held in the Williamstown City Council Chambers, 100 W. 5th Street, Williamstown, WV and is open to the public

LEGAL NOTICE-BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 8A, ARTICLE 24 OF THE CODE OF WEST VIRGINIA, AS AMENDED, AND THE PARKERSBURG ZONING ORDINANCE A-2530 AS ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 27, 1973, THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS WILL HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., ON AUGUST 21, 2019, IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE PARKERSBURG MUNICIPAL BUILDING, ONE GOVERNMENT SQUARE, PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA, TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING APPEALS:

IV. Owner/Applicant Jeff Riddle, 2301 35th Street, in an R-2 District, requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow a variance to place a deck less than one foot from the side property line.
V. Owner/Applicant Harold Z. Parker, Jr., 2612 17th Avenue, in an R-3 District, requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow a variance to place a carport one foot from the right-of-way.
VI. Owner/Wood Duck Realty LLC and WVUMedicine, Applicant Sir Speedy Printing, 1600 Murdoch Avenue, in a B-2 District, requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow 3 off-premise signs to direct patients to their Orthopaedic Facility.
VII. Owner/Applicant Thomas Hughes, 2801 and 2801 1/2 23rd Street, in an R-2 District, requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow the lot to be split into two parcels 2801 will have 4500 square feet and 2801 1/2 wil have 3000 square feet.
