The Wirt County Board of Education will be accepting sealed bids for the upcoming Wirt County Schools Maintenance Building Roofing Project. A sealed bid must be hand-delivered to: Wirt County Board of Education, 389 Mulberry Street, Elizabeth, WV 26143, or mailed to Wirt County Board of Education, 189 Mulberry Street, Elizabeth, West Virginia by 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 2, 2019. The required completion date for the project is Friday, November 15, 2019. Bids must be labeled âWirt County Schools Maintenance Building Roofing Projectã. The Wirt County Board of Education reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.

The project specifications include the following:
1. Remove and replace all old shingles (approximately 3,000 Square Feet)
2. Remove and repair damaged sheeting
3. Replace Shingles with (30 year Warrantied
Dimensional Shingles)
4. Remove and replace all downspouts
5. Remove and replace all fascia
6. Remove and replace all gutters
7. Remove and replace all soffit
8. Remove and replace roof boots
9. Remove, but not replace, two large vents on building
10. Remove and replace ridge cap vents
11. Dispose of all debris and haul away
Checklist for Bidding; includes the following:
1. Provide copy of liability insurance
2. Provide copy of WV Worker’s Compensation coverage
3. Business License
4. Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit
5. Complete W-9
6. Complete No Debt Affidavit
7. If bid is over $25,000 (bond will be required)
