NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Gum Cabin Helicopter Sale is located within 10 miles North of Bartow WV, in Pocahontas County, in the headwaters of Gum Cabin Run. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Forest Supervisor’s Office at 2:00 PM local time on 04/23/2020 for an estimated volume of 856 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 1320 CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 18 CCF of Hardwood – Other (Be, Bi, Ash) sawtimber, 230 CCF of Oak (WO, CO) sawtimber, 2733 CCF of Red & Black Oak sawtimber, and 594 CCF of Yellow Poplar (YP, Cuc, Bass) sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below.
