Notice is hereby given that J.F. Allen Company, PO Box 2049, 2133 Old Weston Road, Buckhannon, WV 26201-2049 has submitted an application for RENEWAL of Permit Number Q200197 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600 in order to remove Greenbrier Limestone by conducting Quarry and underground operations. The operation is discharging into the Tygart Valley River of Monongahela River and is located 3.8 miles, northwest of Elkins West Virginia in Leadsville District of Randolph County, Longitude 79*54’31” and Latitude 38*55’37” (coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments on the Article 4 Quarry Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until June 28, 2020, or thirty (30) days from the date of publication. A copy of the application will be available for review in the DEP regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
