PUBLIC NOTICE
Applications for membership to the Millsop Community Center for low to moderate income individuals or families of Weirton are now available through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Applications will be accepted at the Millsop Community Center beginning Friday July 10, 2020 through Monday, July 27, 2020, during normal business hours, ending at 4:00 p.m. on July 27, 2020. Applicants must provide proof of residency and verification of income at the time of application. In the event that applications exceed funding, a random drawing will be held to determine the individuals or families to receive memberships. The drawing will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. The City of Weirton Board of Parks Commission is a fair housing and equal opportunity employer and a minority and women’s business supporter.
