NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
THE MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARKERSBURG WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 21, 2020 AT 12:30 P.M. IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE PARKERSBURG MUNICIPAL BUILDING, ONE GOVERNMENT SQUARE, PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA. AT THAT TIME AND PLACE ANY INTERESTED PARKERSBURG RESIDENT OR PROPERTY OWNER IS INVITED TO COMMENT ON AND AID THE MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION IN CONSIDERING THE FOLLOWING:
New Business:
A. Petition to abandon an approximately 140′ portion
of a 60′ unimproved right-of-way, known as Kenner
Street, from the northerly right-of-way line of
Staunton Avenue, in a northerly direction, to the
rear lot line of Tax Map 84, Parcel 22.
Applicant: Joan Florence
B. Petition to abandon a portion of an unimproved
right-of-way, known as Locust Street, from the
northerly right-of-way line of 6th Avenue, in
a northeasterly direction to the southerly lot line
of City Tax Map 11, Parcel 174; and to abandon
a portion of an unimproved alley, known as
Central Drive, from the easterly lot line of City
Tax Map 11, Parcel 168, in a southeasterly
direction to the westerly line of above described
Locust Street; and to abandon a portion of an
unimproved alley, from the northeasterly corner
of City Tax Map 12, Parcel 43, in a northwesterly
direction to the easterly line of the above
described Locust Street.
