NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Docks SBA Sale is located within 20 miles South of Marlinton WV, in Pocahontas County, in the headwaters of North Fork of Anthony Creek. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids by mail or courier service only, and results will be publicly posted on the Monongahela National Forest Timber website as soon as practical after bid opening. Mail bids to Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins WV 26241, ATTN: The Docks SBA Sale. Bids shall be postmarked and received prior to 2:00 PM local time on 12/03/2020. There is an estimated volume of 54 CCF of Oak, (WO, CO) sawtimber, 6157 CCF of E(Wh/Red) Pine sawtimber, 37 CCF of Red Maple sawtimber, 65 CCF of Red & Black Oak, (SO) sawtimber, 80 CCF of Yellow Poplar, (Cuc) sawtimber, and 964 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. This is a small business set-aside sale. If no self-certifying small business concern makes a valid bid, the Forest Service will readvertise this sale without restrictions on bidder size. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Marlinton-White Sulphur Ranger District.
