TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Pursuant to the implementing regulations of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Federal Aviation Administration policies and procedures for implementing NEPA, the Elkins-Randolph County Regional Airport Authority is hereby providing official notice of public availability for the Final Environmental Assessment (EA) document and the Federal Aviation Administration’s Finding of No Significant Impact/Record of Decision (FONSI/ROD) prepared for the following project:

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY: The Elkins-Randolph County Regional Airport Authority is pursuing a project to address obstructions in the approach surfaces of Runways 5 and 23 at the Elkins-Randolph County Regional Airport. The project will consist of clearing 16.14 acres of trees, trimming 12.37 acres of trees and removing or lowering 5 structures.
PROJECT LOCATION: The proposed project will occur in the vicinity of the Elkins-Randolph County Regional Airport in Elkins, West Virginia. The proposed project locations are generally shown below.
