INVITATION TO BID
The City of Hinton invites licensed general contractors to submit proposals to provide all work, including, but not limited to, labor, material, equipment, supplies and transportation for the repair of partially-collapsed floor joists on the east end of the Hinton Hardwoods Building at 115 5th Avenue, Hinton, WV.
All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by City of Hinton dated March 15, 2021. Bidding Documents may be obtained from: Candice Helms by emailing her at [email protected]. All work shall be done in compliance with the US Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. Partial funds for this project are provided through the WV State Historic Preservation Office. All applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations apply.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will take place on April 14th at 2PM. Attendance is not mandatory but bidders must schedule a site visit prior to bidding. Call Candice Helms at 304-466-3255 to arrange a site visit. Only written questions will be received by Candice Helms via email until 72 hours prior to the Bid Opening time. A response to all questions and list of attendees shall be issued to all bidders in the form of addenda.
