Notice is hereby given that Carter Roag Coal Company, 109 Appalachian Drive, Beckley, WV 25801, has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV, 26416-1600 for a Phase 2 and 3 release on Permit Number U202588 issued for 27 acres. The permit is located in Middle Fork District of Randolph County, 6.3 miles southwest of Mabie on Hier Lick Run of/and Long Run of Middle Fork of Tygart Valley River. Carter Roag Coal Company completed final reclamation on 11/15/1991 and is requesting release of 100 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $10,800. Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until May 14, 2021 or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
