Call For Wetland Restoration Bids
Piney Creek Watershed Association is seeking bids on a wetland and stream restoration project on the campus of Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley, WV. This project will involve construction of a wetland in the recently dewatered pond basin and forming a down slope stream channel. The basin of the drained pond will be regraded to promote intermittent flooding and reseeded with native wetland plant species. The stream reach below the restored wetland will be improved using Natural Stream Restoration methods. All disturbed areas will be seeded and/or live staked with native species. All work will be designed and inspected by the USDA-NRCS.
A MANDATORY onsite, prebid meeting will take place on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 10 AM. Bids will be accepted through May 7, 2021. A project design and bid package can be requested via email:
