ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Wayne County Board of Education invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for asphalt projects at Wayne Middle School and Wayne High School, Wayne, West Virginia. Sealed bids will be received at the offices of the Wayne County Board of Education, Attention Matt Stanley, P. 0. Box 70,212 North Court Street, Wayne, West Virginia, 25570, until 2:00pm, local time, on Monday, July 19, 2021 at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be at 10:00 am on Monday, July 12, 2021, at the offices of the Wayne County Board of Education. Attendance at pre-bid conference is mandatory. Bidding documents and specifications may be obtained at the pre-bid meeting. Bidders must comply with all bidding requirements and conditions set forth in the bid specifications. All bidders and bidder’s subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (West Virginia Contractor’ s Licensing Act), and shall include their license number on the Bid Form. The Wayne County Board of Education reserves the right to defer, delay, or postpone the date for receiving and reviewing proposals for the project without the necessity of renewing such advertisement. The Wayne County Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects, and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
