Request for proposals for Project-Based Vouchers in Tucker County
The Randolph County Housing Authority (RCHA) is issuing a competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) for experienced rental housing providers to receive project-based Section 8 assistance for newly constructed or rehabilitated housing in Tucker County. RCHA’s goals for project-basing Section 8 assistance are to preserve and expand the stock of affordable rental housing for lower-income households.
Through this RFP, RCHA intends to make up to 15 Section 8 vouchers available for project-based assistance. Contract terms will be from 3- 15 years, and may be extended subject to federal appropriations and contract performance. Funded projects must be ready to enter a Housing Assistance Payment Contract by July 31, 2022.
