PUBLIC NOTICE
The West Virginia Division of Forestry will be conducting a public tour of Clay Run 24 harvest on the Kumbrabow State Forest on Saturday, September 11th, 2021. This tour will be to inform the public of plans for timber harvests that will provide wildlife habitat diversity and increased forest growth potential to this part of the forest. The tour of an area along Compartment 13 off of Trout Run Fire Trail on the South-Eastern Portion of the forest will take place at 10:00 A.M. We will meet at the Kumbrabow State Forest office. The tour will involve a one half to one mile hike off trail over uneven ground in the woods. This is the opportunity for the public to learn about the project in order to provide meaningful input and comments.
