Huntington, WV 25705 The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Water and Waste Management, hereby proposes to renew the Class D General Permit, Permit Number SWF-GP-NC-CLASS D, to regulate noncommercial construction/demolition materials generated by noncommercial construction/demolition activities. The Class D General Permit authorizes the disposal of construction/demolition waste in an area no greater than two (2) acres in spacial area in which the height of construction/demolition material may not exceed the height of the adjoining ground elevation. The Class D Solid Waste Facility is defined by 33CSR 1 ” Solid Waste Management Rule”. The Class D General Permit will be issued for a five (5) year term. The Director of the Division of Water and Waste Management retains authority to require any registrant to obtain an individual solid waste permit. This authority will be exercised when the Director determines that such individual permit will better protect human health and/or the environment.
