Notice is hereby given that the City of Elkins will accept sealed bids for the 2022 Flower Season project, located in downtown Elkins, West Virginia.
The work includes planning, ordering and/or growing summer flowers, fall mums and pine garland and winter white lights for 54 baskets, hay racks, and planters around downtown; soil preparation, planting, and hanging: 4-5 days in May; daily rounds of 54 watering stops for 7 days/week May-Forest Festival; evening round for pesticide/fungicide application as needed; replace summer flowers with mums in September; replace mums with pine garland and winter white lights in late October.
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Elkins on or before 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4th, 2021. Sealed bids must be delivered to the City of Elkins, Ms. Melody Himes – Interim Operations Manager, 401 Davis Ave., Elkins, West Virginia 26241
At that time all sealed bids will be opened and read aloud. Interested parties are invited to attend the bid opening. Any bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.

No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of bid opening without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularity therein.
