NOTICE The City of Milton West Virginia has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) to analyze the impacts of constructing improvements to Jarrell Sargent Park located on Lawhorn Street in Cabell County, West Virginia. The proposed site is located off John Morris Road in Milton. The 30-day review period begins February 1 and ends March 3, 2022. The Proposed Action includes the installation of a new shelter with an ADA accessible restroom, a new parking lot, a concrete sidewalk, a small children’s playground and an exercise area for older children. During the 30-day review period, the City of Milton welcomes the submission of any comments, data, or information related to potential issues, impacts and alternatives that should be addressed in the EA. The deadline for comments related to this proposed action is March 3, 2022. Original documents can be viewed at City Hall between the hours of 8:00 am to noon, and 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
