ADVERTISEMENT Notice is hereby given that Marfork Coal Company, Inc., PO Box 457, 370 Packsville / Marfork Road, Whitesville, WV 25209 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 254 Industrial Drive, Oak Hill, WV 25901 for an Incidental Boundary Revision to Article 3 permit U302100 in order to add 26.00 acres of permit area in order to punch-out the Middle Cedar Grove seam of coal for ventilation purposes, to face up a new portal area, to add approximately mineral reserve, and to exceed IBR acreage limits by a total of 98.07 acres for a new permit total of 142.67 acres. The revised permit will discharge into Slip Ridge Branch, brushy Fork, and Birch Fork of/and Little Marsh Fork and Horse Creek, all of Marsh Fork of Big Coal River of Coal River of the Kanawha River and is located 1.9 miles southwest of Dorothy, in the Marsh Fork District of Raleigh County, Longitude 81 f 27′ 10″ and Latitude 37 f 54′ 59″ (coordinates from USGS Topographic Map). Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until July 25, 2015, or 30 days from the final date of publication.
