LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT Notice is hereby given that Marfork Coal Company, Inc., PO Box 457, Route 3/1, Whitesville, WV 25209 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 254 Industrial Drive, Oak Hill, WV 25901 for an insignificant permit revision to Article 3 permit number U300104 in order to modify an existing punchout/portal area causing the IBR acreage limits to be exceeded. The revised permit will discharge into unnamed tributaries of/and Horse Creek of Marsh Fork, Clays Branch and Sturgeon Fork of/and Dry Creek of Marsh Fork, and workman Creek of Clear Fork, all of Big Coal River of Coal River of Kanawha River, and is located 2.0 miles southwest of Dorothy in Marsh Fork and Clear Fork Districts of Raleigh County, Longitude 81 f 19′ 38″ and Latitude 37 f 54′ 00″ (coordinates from USGS Topographic Map). Surface of the area associated herewith is owned by: Rowland Land Company LLC (formerly Rowland Management Corporation), 405 Capitol Street, Suite 609, Charleston, WV 25301; and the mineral associated herewith is owned by: Rowland Land Company LLC (formerly Rowland Management Corporation), 405 Capitol Street, Suite 609, Charleston, WV 25301. Surface of the area within 100 feet of the permit area is owned by: Rowland Land Company LLC (formerly Rowland Management Corporation), 405 Capitol Street, Suite 609, Charleston, WV 25301. And the mineral within 100 feet of the permit area is owned by: Rowland Land Company LLC (formerly Rowland Management Corporation), 405 Capitol Street, Suite 609, Charleston, WV 25301. Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until January 2, 2016, or ten (10) days from date of publication.
