CONTRACT #1 – FACTORY-BUILT 8 X 12 ABOVE GROUND PUMP STATION

Sealed bids for Contract #1 – Factory-Built 8 x 12 Above Ground Pump Station (Vendor Bid) will be received by the Thrasher Group, Inc., Northgate Business Park, 300 Association Drive, Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia, until 2:00 p.m., L.P.T., on Friday, February 26, 2016, for furnishing labor and materials and performing all Work set forth in the Contract Documents prepared by The Thrasher Group, Inc. Immediately following the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids, all proposals which have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of the Contract Documents will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The approximate quantities of work to be bid upon are described as follows:
Furnish and deliver to the Corporation of Shepherdstown, one (1) Factory-Built 8 x 12 Above Ground Pump Station with Duplex Self-Priming Pumps complete with precast concrete wet well top slab and all necessary appurtenances as indicated in the Specifications. Equipment will be delivered to the Cress Creek Lift Station site and be installed in conjunction with lift station improvements project to be performed by a General Contractor.
The Equipment will be delivered to the job site within 180 days after the notification to proceed.

Complete sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained from the office of Thrasher, 300 Association Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
A two envelope system will be used.
Envelope No. 1 must have the following information presented on the front:
Name and address of Bidder
Bid on Contract #1 – Factory-Built 8 x 12 Above Ground Pump Station (Vendor Bid)
Received by the Thrasher Group, Inc. for the Corporation of Shepherdstown.
Envelope No. 2 labeled “Bid Proposal” shall also be placed inside of Envelope #1.
Envelope No. 1 will be opened first and the Bid Opening Requirement items checked for compliance as outlined on the Bid Opening Checklist on page BOR – 1 of these contract documents. If such documents are found to be in order, Envelope No. 2 “Bid Proposal”, will then be opened and will be publicly read aloud. If the documents required to be contained in Envelope No. 1 are not in order, Envelope No. 2 “Bid Proposal” will not be opened and the Bid will be considered non-responsive and will be returned to the Bidder.
The preferred method of payment is by credit card.
A Bidder may not withdraw his Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids.
Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the bidders.
The Corporation of Shepherdstown reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.
