BALLISTIC S.W.A.T. SHIELDS

 

Sealed bids for the City of Parkersburg Police Department will be received by the City of Parkersburg, West Virginia in the Finance Department, first floor of the Municipal Building, One Government Square, (PO Box 1627), Parkersburg, WV 26102 until 10:00AM local time on April 16, 2019, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

 

The general scope of work shall include the furnishing of all materials and transportation necessary for four (4) ballistic shields.

 

Bidding documents may be examined at the Police Department, third floor of the Municipal Building, One Government Square, (PO Box 1627), Parkersburg, WV 26102 or on the City of Parkersburg’s official website under the ‘bids’ section.

 

Bids may not be modified or withdrawn for a period of 60 days after receipt of bids without forfeiture of bid security, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages.  A five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) bid bond or certified check must accompany all bids.

 

Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive order No. 11246 and 11375 and 41 CFR 60 and âFHWA 1273ã, which prohibit discrimination in employing regarding race, creed, religion, color, sex, national origin, or physical disability.

 

The City of Parkersburg reserves the right to waive any informality in the bid and reject any or all bids.
