TOWN OF BRADSHAW
INSTALLATION AND
SECURING OF EMERGENCY
POWER GENERATOR
Sealed Bids for Contract No. 1 – Emergency Backup Generator Set for Water Plant, which consists of the purchase, delivery and installation of an emergency backup generator, automatic transfer switch, and other related work will be received by the Town of Bradshaw at their office at 10002 Marshall Highway, Bradshaw, WV 24817, until 2:00 p.m. EST on March 13, 2019 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read:
The emergency backup generator, automatic transfer switch, concrete base, security fencing, and other necessary appurtenances shall conform to the contract specifications/drawings and other requirements contained in the Bid Package.
Interested parties shall contact E.L. Robinson Engineering at (304) 252-7473 for acquiring the Bid Package. Bidders interested in visiting the water plant site should contact the Town of Bradshaw at (304) 967-7370.
There will be a $50.00 non-refundable fee for the bid package. All clarifications, questions or comments regarding the contents of the Bid Package must be submitted in writing and emailed to rhazelwood@
elrobinson.com. No clarifications and questions will be accepted after 4:00 p.m. EST on March 5, 2019.
If a Bidder is submitting alternate products to the types of equipment specified in the Bid Package, the Bidder shall provide product literature, including detailed specifications, drawings and information by email to rhazelwood@
elrobinson.com, for review and approval by no later than 4:00 p.m. EST on March 1, 2019.
Bids for each Contract must be submitted in a separate sealed (inner) envelope containing the Official Bid, and included in a larger sealed (outside) envelope containing the Bid Bond equal to 5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of total base bid with Power of Attorney, evidence of a valid West Virginia Contractors License, Certification of EEO, Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit, and certification of receipt of all Addenda. Both sealed envelopes must have the following information in the lower left-hand corner for the Contract being bid:

No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of the opening of the Bids.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Payment Bond and Performance Bond each for 100{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of the Contract Amount.
The Town shall evaluate all bids received based upon price, specifications, customer satisfaction, service availability, and general suitability for intended use. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all Bids that are not in the best interest of the Town and to waive any bidding informalities that may arise.
