The Morgan County Board of Education, Berkeley Springs, WV will receive bids for Floor Replacement to Morgan County Schools until 1:30 p.m., local prevailing time on 30th day of January 2024, at the office of the Morgan County Board of Education, Berkeley Springs, WV, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m., local prevailing time on 16th day of January 2024 at Morgan County Board of Education. A site visit will be conducted following the meeting.
The contract documents are available only from the architect’s Project Management Website. Login credentials will be sent to plan rooms, all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers after the request is made to [email protected]. Addenda will be only distributed electronically to bidders registered in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting.
This Project is funded through a American Rescue Plan Elementary & Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Fund (ARP ESSERF) Grant and subject to all Federal and State Guidelines including but not limited to 41 U.S.C. 1908, 41 CFR Part 60-1.3 for Equal Employment Opportunity, 40 U.S.C. 3141-3148 for the Davis-Bacon Act, 40 U.S.C. 3701-3708 for Contract Hours and Safety Standards, 42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q Clean Air Act, 2 CFR §200.323 Domestic Preferences for Procurement, 2 CFR §200.321 contracting for small and minority business, women business enterprises and labor surplus area firms, 2 CFR §200.323 Procurement of recovered materials, 34 CFR §75.609 and §75.610 for access by persons of disabilities and all Federal statues in regards to discrimination.
Each Bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for his Bid to be considered. Each Bidder’s registration certificate number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal.
All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State prior to submitting a bid for this project as required by Chapter 21, Article 11, of the Code of West Virginia. Each Bidder’s Contractor license number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal.
A satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia, in an amount equal to five (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the Morgan County Board of Education, shall be submitted with each Bid.
Each (The) successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and the fee for same shall be included in their bid.
No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least thirty (30) days.
The Board of Education of the County of Morgan, Berkeley Springs, WV reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
