AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is hereby given that Appalachian Aggregrates, LLC, has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a G40 General Permit Registration for a portable crushing unit to operate at three (3) nonmetallic mineral processing facilities: Beckley Plant, Lewisburg Plant, and Ingleside Quarry. The following tables provide location information for each site:

The applicant estimates that there will be an increase in the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants: PM of 25.57 tons per year (tpy) of which 11.55 tpy is fugitive, PM10 of 10.12 tons per year (tpy) of which 3.43 tpy is fugitive, and PM2.5 of 1.56 tons per year (tpy) of which 0.52 tpy is fugitive.
The facility will begin operating under this permit upon issuance which is anticipated to be on the 15th day of July, 2020. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
