The State of West Virginia, Department of Commerce, Division of Natural Resources, offers by bid award the exclusive right and privilege to lease for production purposes, certain of the Stateás oil and gas resources under the following properties:
- Underlying portions of Middle Island Creek, containing 13.63 net acres, m/l, in Pleasants County, West Virginia, having a beginning latitude of 39.430276 and longitude of -81.081539 and meandering in a southerly direction with the ordinary low water mark to a point in the waterway having an ending latitude of 39.419763 and longitude of -81.087047.
- Underlying portions of Middle Island Creek, containing
17.072 net acres, m/l, in Pleasants County, West Virginia, having a beginning latitude of 39.4441820 and longitude of -81.070172 meandering in a south westerly direction with the ordinary low water mark to a point in the water way having an ending latitude of 39.430276 and longitude of -81.081539.

The bidding procedure and prospectus package generally describes the area to be leased, including location maps, contains a list of specifically required information of each bidder and sets out the minimum bid requirements. The DNR must receive bids from interested parties for these properties no later than 3:00 pm on March 28, 2018.
