PROPERTY OWNERS
The Morgan County Assessor’s Office will undergo its 2026 monitoring process, conducted by WV State Appraiser Colby J. Faulk, from late April through mid-May 2026.
He will be driving a Blue Subaru Forester. For security purposes, he will be wearing an ID Badge and will introduce himself immediately upon making contact with the property owner.
Randomly selected parcels for his review will cover all property types, including residential, farm and commercial parcels.
Colby will be reviewing a random selection of sales and transfers from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, to ensure proper entry and validation (covering all transactions of $100 or more). Buyers, sellers or agents may be contacted to verify the correct validation coding of the sale.
