Tucker County Development Authority Hosting
Broadband Public Meeting May 15
The Tucker County Development Authority will host a public meeting on Wednesday, May 15, at 6 P.M. for residents to learn about efforts to bring high speed broadband Internet service to Tucker County. The public meeting will be held at the Tucker County Courthouse Courtroom, 211 First Street, Parsons, WV 26287.
The Tucker County Development Authority is working with other counties to apply for a grant to expand broadband coverage in our region through the Rural Development Broadband ReConnect Program. This is an innovative new pilot program that offers unique federal financing and funding options to facilitate broadband deployment in areas of rural America that don’t currently have sufficient access to broadband.
