James L. Pitrolo, Jr., Chairman of the West Virginia Health Care Authority, today announced that the Authority has received a request for an exemption from Certificate of Need review, pursuant to W.Va. C.S.R. § 65-27, from Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Ronceverte, Greenbrier County, CON File #15-4-10596-X, for the development by way of an employment agreement with Dr. Ray L. Jones, D.O., and existing provider of general surgery services. The facility is located at 304 Seneca Trail, Ronceverte, Greenbrier County. The office will be staffed by one general surgeon. The office will not be an ambulatory surgery center.
The capital expenditure associated with the project is $200,000.
Any affected person may oppose this proposal by submitting a letter stating the reason for the opposition, within thirty days of the first date of publication of the public notice to:
